"The Sun-Heart Native American "inspired" Flute Store" came into being in the year 2000, as a result of my search to find Flutes that were not only in tune , but were easy to play and sounded well. After long hours in my wood shop, experimenting with designs, I came up with a method of creating a Flute that has eye appeal and sounds rich and full.And today the Flutes have evolved into magical healing tools as well as very lovely musical instruments.

All of my Flutes are tuned to the Pentatonic Scale and are finished with natural finish, that I have developed over this past year and all Flutes are all constructed of the Finest Hardwood and Softwood Lumbers.

Now let us speak of the individuality of a personal flute.Each flute I make, regardless of who it is for, is custom made, not cranked out of a "flute mill", it is a lovingly made for you the customer. This is why I prefer to speak with every one of my customers on the phone. This gives me the ability to put the customers energy into the flute as I make and craft the flute, where-by making this flute yours even before you receive it. The air that enters the flute is directed forward, from the slow air chamber to the melodic chamber utilizing the "Bird". This is where traditionally you place your totem or fetish. You can personalize your flute by letting me know what totem or fetish you desire, and Sunny will make it so.Please take the time to look at what the desired effect is and what you'd like to do with your Sunny Heartley Flute ( ie: backpacking, concert pitch flute, recording,or just sitting in the wilderness and playing to the "critters")
